CrossTraining Clitheroe is more than just a gym, since establishing in 2010 we have continually developed our training methods and what we provide to our customers. All of our classes are instructor led, whether that be our CCX classes, Hyrox, Deka or Indoor Cycling. Each of these classes work ever so slightly different, but the methodology is the same and guaranteed to give you the results you are looking for. CCX is a GPP program (general physical preparedness) that essentially ticks all the boxes when it comes to getting fit and getting in shape, with the pure aim of developing all aspects of fitness – cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy as well as helping keep motivation and results at a high level, and are suitable for all levels of fitness.
The DEKA Training System is a unique approach that will elevate your confidence, improve daily performance and help be the best version of you! DEKA is short for decathlon and is derived from the Greek word ‘dèka’ which means ten. In each Deka session we utilise some or all of the ten Deka Zones to create constantly varied workouts to stimulate both Mind and Body.:
Hyrox is based on movements which are simple enough that everyone can do it, yet combined they’re hard enough to give you a challenge to work towards. You probably don’t need us to tell you that combining cardio and strength training is a guaranteed path for your overall fitness. By covering the main functional movement patterns, you’re getting the best workout your body could hope for in a metabolism-boosting HIIT setting.
The Engine Room is the Open Gym section for CrossTraining Clitheroe.
Here you can come in and work-out at your own pace and complete your own method of training from 6am – 8pm. The gym is highly equipped with everything you could ever need.
Programs and Personal training are also available.
Our Sunday session that leaves you refreshed and ready to enjoy your day. The class gives you options on loadings and movements that will suit your training schedule. The class is 1 hour with a guaranteed 30-45 minutes of non stop exercise.
